How to open and view .XFD files

When you attempt to open a .XFD file, your PC displays an error: "Windows can't open this file". This error is caused by two issues in the Windows system registry: i) the XFD file type registration is missing and ii) the host application for .XFD files isn't properly associated with its file type registration.

Recommended Solution

Check both file type registration and host application association for XFD files in the system registry. Registry errors are also the primary causes for system crashes and slowdowns. It is highly recommended that you check your registry for file related errors and any other system errors.

Detailed Instruction

Step 1: Download the free registry scan tool provided by PC TuneUp Maestro.

Step 2: Click "Start Scan" to identify all registry errors.

Step 3: Review scan results and click "Fix Items".
